How to apply FRONTLINE SPRAY

Frontline Spray FAQs.

How do I apply FRONTLINE SPRAY?

How often should I use FRONTLINE SPRAY?

Treat all your dogs and cats every month. If you are in a paralysis tick area and have a cat, apply FRONTLINE SPRAY every 3 weeks for protection against paralysis ticks.

Do I need to apply FRONTLINE SPRAY to all of my dogs and cat?

Yes, you must treat all dogs and cats with FRONTLINE SPRAY to resolve flea infestations and prevent household contamination. If one pet is left untreated, fleas on that pet could deposit viable flea eggs into your home environment. These eggs will develop into adult fleas and re-infest your pets.

How long before and after bathing my pet should I apply FRONTLINE?

Ensure your pet is totally dry before applying FRONTLINE products. Do not bathe or shampoo your pet for at least 48 hours.

What shampoo is best for my pets when using FRONTLINE SPRAY?

Use a gentle, soap-free, pet shampoo. Don't use other insecticides (flea treatment such as flea wash), human shampoo, or anything that strips oils from your pet's coat or skin.

When should I start treating my pets with FRONTLINE SPRAY?

It is safe to treat puppies and kittens with FRONTLINE SPRAY from 2 days of age.

Is FRONTLINE a repellent?

No. FRONTLINE is a flea treatment that affects fleas when they are exposed to the active ingredient on your pet's coat. Unfortunately, there is no product on the market that effectively repels fleas or kills fleas instantly. Fleas have to jump onto treated pets to come in contact with the active ingredient regardless of which flea control product is used, and all products take a period of time to kill those fleas.

Can I use FRONTLINE SPRAY on my cat?

FRONTLINE SPRAY can be used on both dogs and cats.

My pet has licked the FRONTLINE SPRAY. Will it be OK?

If licking occurs shortly after application, a brief period of hyper-salivation may occur due to the taste.

Where is the best place to store my FRONTLINE SPRAY?

Store FRONTLINE products at room temperature, below 30°C, and always check the expiry date on the end panel of the pack before use. Do not store FRONTLINE SPRAY in the fridge.

Can FRONTLINE SPRAY be used on pets other than cats or dogs?

No, FRONTLINE SPRAY should only be used on dogs and cats. Never use FRONTLINE on rabbits.
